Introduction A septum pellucidum cyst is defined as a fluid collection between the lateral ventricles whose walls have curvature and are separated by 10 mm or more . Most of these cysts benign their clinical significance should be considered neurodevelopmental anomaly that may contribute to neuropsychiatric abnormalities It often incidental finding, little significance. However, an association this developmental mental disorder, such schizophrenia and/or intellectual disability, has been reported Objectives The objective study discuss relationship disorders, especially disability. Methods We report in two cases, diagnosed with comorbid disability whom brain imaging objectified Results multiple cases reports patients Schizophrenia retardation revealed, on imaging, significant midline regions Septum Pellucidum. suggested CSP, particularly if large, abnormalities. Conclusions Whether CSP serve risk factor for psychosis only reflection neuroanatomical changes individuals chronic psychotic disorders remains ambiguous.
